Windlesham Gates receives Gate Safe accreditation
Windlesham Gates has received accredited from Gate Safe, the charity dedicated to ensuring that all electric and automatic gates are correctly installed by properly trained engineers.
Gate Safe was set up in 2010, in the wake of two tragic incidents where children were crushed to death in automatic gates that had not been correctly fitted. It campaigns for tighter regulation of the industry and works with manufacturers of gates and gate automation equipment, installers, surveyors, architects and construction companies to ensure that existing guidelines are correctly interpreted.
Windlesham Gates’ Managing Director Lee Hilton said: “Safety has to be the most important consideration when you’re installing any electric or automated gate. We’re fully behind the work of Gate Safe and delighted that our own stringent safety procedures have been recognised by the charity.”
Regular servicing and maintenance is an essential part of ensuring that gates are safe to use. Windlesham Gates offers competitively priced service and maintenance packages for both commercial and domestic gates.
