Wrought-iron gates and matching pedestrian gate for a new four-home development
Brief:
Commissioned by the contractor, who was building four new homes in a gated development, Windlesham Gates was asked to produce and install a set of wrought-iron gates to replicate the design of existing railings, along with a matching pedestrian gate. The gates’ operating equipment needed to cope with a relatively high volume of traffic.

Solution:
A set of zinc powder-coated wrought iron gates with black finish and a matching pedestrian gate were designed and made at our factory locally. We installed heavy-duty BFT hydraulic motors able to operate for up to 500 cycles in a 24-hour period. The gate access system allows each of the four houses to permit entry to callers, with two-way voice communication. Additionally, access for regular visitors is provided by use of a four digit code. Ten transmitter fobs were also supplied, providing remote access.
